HOW TO GET ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SCHOOL

Every student in a school wanted to get more achievements. They will do everything to get it, like attended a course, study with friends, or study hard in individual. But these tips will helps you to increase your achievement in the school.

Learning the characteristic of the entire teacher, about how they teaching until their habits.
It can help you to anticipate the condition when that teacher will teach you. For example, teacher x likes to give sudden test to the students. So, we can prepare and study the lesson before the day that the teacher x teach you.
If you don’t like a lesson because of he teacher, so don’t hate that lesson.
It means whoever the teacher, we must love and study hard with the lesson. For example, Mr. x is a mathematic teacher. His explain about the lesson isn’t clear to the students. But you must always remember to understand and love the lesson, even though the teacher isn’t satisfying.
If there is a disagreement between friends or with the teacher, try to consult your problem with the student counseling in your school or your homeroom teacher.
A disagreement must be finished quickly, because if it isn’t be finished, it will damage the relationships between students and teacher, and cause dissension between the students.
Join with extracurricular program in the school that can support your ability for your future.
The extracurricular program can give you a skill, outside the academic. Choose the extracurricular program that you like and it will support your ability for your desire.

Don’t be afraid, proper respect, or shy to asking if you feel difficult in a lesson or you haven’t understood yet with the lesson.
It will help you to get more understanding in a lesson. Hope, you will get good mark in that lesson quickly.
Make an activity schedule in detail and use the spare time wisely.
The schedule will helps you to organize the time. So, your activity won’t be neglected one with another. Don’t waste the time! Use the time wisely, because the time won’t go back again.
Learn regularly and be diligent even though in holiday.
Beside learn regularly although in holiday, try to find a few time for playing to study or just repeat the lesson. So the lesson will be more understandable. But, don’t use all the time just for study, we also need an entertainment, right?
And the last, don’t forget to pray to God.
Your hard work isn’t useful if you don’t pray to God. So, the hard work must together with pray to God.

That’s all about the tricks. Hope you can use the tips and you will get achievement just for a moment.

HOW TO MAKE “WEDANG RONDE”

Ingredients:

1. ”Mutiara” porridge (pacar cina)
2. Kolang-Kaling
3. Roasted nut
4. Bread
5. Ginger water
6. Milk
7. “Ronde”

Equipments:

- Tea spoon
- Spoon
- Bowl

Steps:

First, prepare all the ingredients, and then prepare the bowl.
Second, add three spoonful of sugar in a bowl.
Third, put a spoonful of kolang-kaling in the bowl.
Fourth, add a spoonful of mutiara porridge in the bowl.
Fifth, put a spoonful of bread in the bowl.
After that, add a tea spoonful of roasted nut.
Then, the important is adding a spoon of Ronde in the bowl.
Next, pour the milk to taste.
Last, pour the ginger water in the bowl.

Wedang Ronde is ready to be served.

KENTHONGAN MUSIC PERFORMANCE

Kenthongan  is a Banyumas traditional music  performance.  The materials a made from bamboo. This music played by 10 – 20 players. Like a marching band, this group is led by a conductor.  This photo, shows that Kenthongan group of SMA 2 Purwokerto  in action . (Icha)

Hi Guys! I guess all of you know some stars like Pasha, Ariel and Giring, right?Yeah b’coz their songs are so famous. But do you know if our school has a star too? She is always in canteen and known for her rabbit-liked teeth. She always smiles whatever happens. Yeah, she is our “canteen star”. You wanna know more about her? So keep reading this!
At Friday, February 13, 2009, we are as Excelsiors crews interviewing her ‘bout her job in SMADHA.

Question (Q) : Excuse me, can we take a little time of yours?
Answer (A) : Sure. What can I do?

Q : We are as Excelsiors crews wanna ask some question to you for our magazine.
A : (Laugh) Why me? I am not sure ‘bout that.

Q : ‘coz you’re so famous. All of students always see u in canteen but they just know your face not your identity.
A : OK (smile). So what do you want to ask?

Q : Can we know your name?
A : My name is Ari. Ari Lestari Sugiarti. But some students call me Mba Ari or Tante Ari.

Q : Where were you born?
A : I was born in Purwokerto. I’m a native here.

Q : When?
A : On September 15, 1984.

Q : So, you are still 24? You’re still young.
A : (Smile) Yeah. Just like what you see.

Q : Do you have a husband?
A : Yes. My husband is from Surabaya.

Q : Child?
A : Nope. I don’t have (she looked into her foot)

Q : OK. So, where do you live?
A : I live on Pahlawan Street no.11 RT 5 RW II, South Purwokerto.

Q : What time do you go to SMADHA?
A : I go from home at 6.00 and arrive here at 6.30.

Q : And what time do you go home?
A : Usually I go home at about 15.00 – 15.30. But on Friday I go home at 14.oo.

Q : How long have you worked in SMADHA?
A : Two years. I’ve started working here since 2006.

Q : Do you feel enjoy to work here?
A : Sure. Because I like this place although there are many students that like to throw the food not in the dustbin. And sometimes I feel not pleasant with the teachers.

Q : What do you do to the students like that?
A : I just tell them to not do it again.

Q : Are you not angry?
A : No.

Q : So if I do that, you won’t angry to me right? (Laugh).
A : Yes, but I don’t want you to do that (laugh).

Q : He…he… So if you don’t mind, can you tell me how many salaries that you get?
And from whom do you get it?
A : It’s variable. I get it from the entire sellers here everyday. They gather their money and give it to me.

Q : And the last… Do you have any criticism or suggestion to our canteen?
A : Hmm…. I want the improvisation to the facilities and canteen cleaners. And I think
this canteen needs to be larger because SMADHA has many students.

Q : OK. Thank you for letting us to take your time.
A : You’re welcome.

EVERLASTING FLOWER

We aren’t as colorful as orchid,
We don’t have smell as fragrant as lavender,
we don’t have body as hefty as pine,
we grow slowly and can only be a dwarf.
Why grandpa? Tell me why!” asked little Edelweiss to grandpa.
“Son, it’s true, we are pale and weak, but why does God create us? He surely has reasons. You’re too young to understand. Someday, when you grow up, you will find the answer and realize The Grandeur of God” said grandpa wisely.

Times pass by, little Edelweiss has grown, but, he still don’t know anything about the answer. Among all of flowers in the park, Edelweiss is the palest one. The park is dominated by rainbow color of crysans, roses, tulips. Edelweiss wonders why God create crysans with beautiful color but not to Edelweiss. One time Edelweiss asks Timmy the tulip about it.
“You’re everlasting flower, and I am not. You can see the world longer than me.” says Timmy.
Edelweiss then ask the red rose, Ross with same question.
“Every flower symbolize something. Wild lily symbolizes grieve, myself symbolizes love, so do you. You’re symbolizing purity and inaccessibility.”
Ross’ words haven’t made everything clear. Just for symbolizing? No, I can’t put my finger on it, think Edelweiss.

Spring has came, and commonly all flowers look very beautiful. Spring means for the flower farmers to pick the flowers and then sell it. Edelweiss looks some farmers are picking the roses and put it in their bamboo basket. Then the farmer comes near Edelweiss, and pick some of his friend. Not many people like to buy edelweiss so the farmer just picks a little.

Summer takes over spring time. The hot sunshine makes the ground dry. And it causes roses, tulips and another flower wilted. They lose their bright color and have brown instead. But it doesn’t happen to Edelweiss because he can grow in the ground with lack water and nutrient. This condition continues until autumn. Almost flowers disappear, wilted, except Edelweiss, because he is everlasting flower, like Timmy said. Nothing can make edelweiss wilted. Edelweiss feels that he begin find the answer.

Edelweiss hates autumn, because he can’t see tulips and roses, loses friend to talk. They are wilted. Edelweiss can only wait until next spring and it feels very long. Feeling lonely and seeing around, he only see nothing except other edelweiss. Then edelweiss muses, think of granpa’s words.
“These are the answer!” yells Edelweiss in his heart. God creates me because He wants to grow flower that live for eternity. He creates me with pale color because if I have bright color we will absorb more sunshine and it can make us wilted like roses. He grows me slowly because He doesn’t want me to fill the ground and make the other plant can not live. He also creates me because we I am the flower that can live in winter, can be picked by the farmers and sell me for their living. Those are the answers that Edelweiss has found in the end.
Even though Edelweiss has figured it out, he still doesn’t feel truly happy, because of it, he must feel the loneliness. But he can’t blame God, who plans everything perfectly.

National Science Olympiad is a competition to compete in the sciences for students at the elementary level, junior and senior high schools in Indonesia. Students who follow the National Science Olympiad is a student who has passed the district and provincial level and they are the best students from each province.

Implementation of this National Science Olympiad is based on the success of Indonesia as the host of the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO – International Physics Olympiad) held in Bali in 2002.

National Science Olympiad held annually in different cities. This activity is one part of a series of selections to get the best students from all over Indonesia will be further guided by the field team and individual competitions will be included in the Olympiad international level.

Senior high school level: Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy, Computers, Economics, and in 2008 added a new field, Earth Science.

From SMA 2 Purwokerto, there are many students who passed this level from many subjects too; they are Math, Physics, Biology, Economic, Earth Science, ICT and Astronomy. Just Chemistry which not passed anyone.

Hey, whatz up!! As you know, ROHIS is an Islamic organization that has a lot of activity to be closer with the God, Allah SWT. Me, Wito, as ROHIS leader who has a kind heart and famous around you (Hhe… so narcissus) will tell you ‘bout ROHIS long trip to Widara Payung, which well known as WP.

Firstly ROHIS purpose to WP is for tadabur alam, or for adore the Allah’s painting. Actually, only ikhwan who went there, and akhwat didn’t go there, coz they didn’t want to. Maybe they’re afraid if Ikhwan do SO2 (sing ora-ora) to them…, hhe, even we are ROHIS, and always remember Allah SWT, but we just a human being, we can flattered by the evil. So, to avoid SO2, Akhwat choose didn’t follow tadabur alam to WP. Hikz…

At 4 pm, all Ikhwan and class representatives went to WP by a truck. And of course, little rainy in a shiny day accompany our short trip. About 4.30 pm, we arrived in SMP N 1 BINANGUN to take a rest for that night. And do you know what, guys! I’m so surprised when we have finished our maghrib and isya’ also our Islamic speech, about 7 pm, adzan maghrib comes. Well, you know friends, that adzan maghrib is at 6.15 pm, but in WP, adzan maghrib is at 7 pm!! Can you imagine when they do shubuh? (Err… maybe at 7 am…)

After that, we took a walk over the sea and went sleep in SMP N 1 BINANGUN. About 10.30 pm, Mr. Solichin comes. Then, I came to him.

“Wis pada turu urung?” Mr. Solichin asked.

“Uwis Pak” I answered and accompany him to the teacher room.

“Wis tuku rokok?” Mr. Solikhin asked again.

“Urung, Pak” I answered again.

“Sana beli rokok karo mendoan!” He said.

Then, I came back to the classroom, took the motorcycle key, jacket, and STNK.

‘Coz of the night that so creepy, I went out with my truly best friend, Catur, or Caca. When we went outside, brrr…. the air was very cold!! So, I rode my motorcycle quickly. We turned left, and turned right, but we didn’t find any seller. Then, we looked around mini market and we found seller of Wedang Jahe and then we buy some to make our body strong enough to continue the journey. Then, we came back to classroom, and can you guess what happening next? Absolutely no… yeah, as you know, then Papi Solihin that loves us too much, order us to seek that damn mendoan around Kroya. Unbelievable! And we went to Kroya and repeat our experience about wind and tried hard to find the mendoan. In the road we saw the many “PKL”, then we asked to someone in there.

“Mas ana mendoan ra,…?” I asked softly

“Ndeleng kiye, gambare apa..  !!!” he answered angrily. Well, actually we knew that we’re wrong coz we asked to a “LELE DUMBO” seller. We just thought that maybe that seller sold mendoan too, or even he knew a place where we could find the mendoan. Humpf… we were so desperate at that time…

‘Coz we were so upset, we continue our trip with grumbling. When we arrived in a cigarettes seller, we bought 3 packs of  “GUDANG GARAM FILTER” and asked to her. She was so kind to us, she told us where we can find mendoan easily. Then, we went to a mendoan seller nearby the railway just like the cigarettes seller.

Humpf… ‘coz of my anger to the LELE seller, I took a big mendoan (as big as my notebook) and a kupat. But, when I finished eating that giant mendoan, I was still angry. So, without thought anymore, I took another mendoan and kupat. Actually my stomach was so full of giant mendoan, but I’m still really really angry. And once again, I took one mendoan and kupat to fulfill my anger. Hmh… after ate 3 mendoan and 3 kupat, I bought 25 mendoan for the school keeper. In fact, only 15 that I gave to the keeper, and the 10 mendoan, I gave it to my friends. (ooh… Wito, what a kind person you are!..)

Well, actually I wish that I can continue my story ‘bout sweet memories in WP. But, I think I have an amnesia, so I forget the next stories. Sorry…. Hhe,,

Uhmm….beautiful song….So romantic. Friends, do you know that song? Of course you know, right! Coz that’s one of movie original soundtrack that so famous and extraordinary in Indonesia. Yapz, “Ayat-Ayat Cinta”, a movie that tells about true love in different religion with sacrified for their lover. Really really true love….

But, e-star won’t tell about Ayat-Ayat Cinta movie or even the actress or the actor. So, what will we talk about?? Yapz, you could know our e-star from the title. The Economic Verses or “Ayat-Ayat Ekonomi” founder: Who’s that?? He’s someone that’s so powerful, kind, consistence and of course, loves economics, (coz economics is his true love) hhehe…. Do you know who’s that person?? AHA!! You’re right!! He’s Mr. Agus Suyubi, our economics teacher.

This Klaten man who born at 3^rd November 1955 is crazy on reading and writing. Especially writes poetry (Wow!). Just imagine, how many economics teacher who loves to write poetry? So cool, right??

“Life is study of life”, a simple sentence that always motivate Mr. Suyubi to keep spirit in teaching Smadha’s student that soooo……incredible (and naughty but,,, genius, right!? Hhehe).

A teacher who lives at Karang Kobar street, RT 4 RW 8 no.1 is so interesting. For him, being a teacher is just like an entertainment, it can be for refreshing too. And you know what?? Extraordinary and pleasant, are Mr. Suyubi’s opinion for us, as smadha’s students. Cieee….ehm,,ehm……

He hopes that SMA N 2 Purwokerto could be the best school. One of the effort is by teach the students to keep positive thinking in every steps, so that we could enjoy our every single day. But, it’s better to positive thinking and keep our motivation, so we have energy to face everything. He sad when there’s nobody who wants to buy and show enthusiasm to his knowledges. But, he still thought that every child, basically are good and wise man. Because every man has their own lack. He’s very glad and proud to teach the students.

Uhmmm….there’s another surprisingly fact. Our beloved economic teacher, actually really want to be an actor (What?? How it feels to have an actor as our teacher??)!! When he’s still wearing white and grey or still a teenager, he followed theatre extraculicular, and he want to continue in ISI, Yogyakarta. But, again and again, money become the barrier of his dream. Finally, he continues his school to IKIP Solo, in economic department. Even he lost his dream, he always keep the spirit inside. Cause for him, something he does is the ticket to get into the society world.
